Radio Playout offers a complete Broadcast Automation Solution working together with Playlist Manager, Media Manager and Traffic Manager. All the necessary modules work seamlessly and simplify the task of management and planning of radio broadcast. Metadata sharing between the modules allows for fast creation of music or thematic channels.
AdPlayer allows broadcast of commercials intended for regions different from the main one. This is achieved by creating additional commercial regions and assigning adPlayer to each one of them. That benefits radio stations that require broadcasting of different commercials in different regions at the same time.
Media Manager provides the tools for registering, managing and administrating the Media Library and Playout. Registering Media asset in the Playout allows metadata editing, deleting or disabling of seperate items or a group of them. Provides a detailed report for everything broadcasted by the Playout. An option for preview and edit of the system’s main indexes.
Playlist Manager offers an automated or manual creation of playlists for the next 24 hours or more. The user creates templates with the desired criteria and rules, which are later used for asset selection in automated playlist creation. The selection is based on several factors such as how many times an asset should be broadcasted, its type, restrictions, and many more. After generating the playlist, further corrections and changes can be made.
Traffic Manager provides management and planning of the commercials for broadcast. Creates single or periodic schedules. Allows setting of various parameters and checks such as voice and branch separation, position in the commercial break and many more. Supports multiple commercial regions, tariff and billing information.
Report Manager provides more detailed analysis of the As-Run log from the Playout, certificates for broadcasted commercials, charts for the most broadcasted assets for the week, month or year as well as statistics for the pre-paid commercial time, average data for the value of a minute commercial time.
Archive Server enables centralized archiving of media files and databases. This procedure is completely automatic. The server can work as a hot backup, which allows temporarily to remove files from the playout and to send them for archiving without losing any data. Then, if necessary, these files can be restored back to the playout and used again by the system.
Monitor publishes the metadata of the currently broadcasted file online, submits it to RDS or different third-party systems for additional processing and visualization.
Audio Recorder provides record from line-in. Automatically splits the output files to periods with fixed duration. Starts and stops recording if a certain level of the input signal has been reached.
